With a sharp chill in the air and Christmas crackers on supermarket shelves, there are signs everywhere that winter festivities are fast approaching.
However, this can be a difficult time of year for those in need of extra support. That’s why I'm proud of our community’s track record of coming together and helping them out.
Sidmouth Rotary Club is doing just that by launching a Christmas hamper appeal that will spread some festive cheer, with donation points at the Post Office, Co-op, Fields, Potburys, The Works and Gliddons Toy Shop from November 3rd.
There will also be a donation point in Market Square on the 1st & 2nd December, as well as a cash and card collection in the same place on the 8th & 9th.
If you’re able to, please help make someone’s Christmas by giving what you can. You can find out more by emailing Mike Goodman, Rotary Project Manager, at mggoodman9@aol.com or by clicking here: Sidmouth Rotary to launch Christmas hamper appeal | Sidmouth Herald
