Great to visit Ottery St Mary and West Hill today. I met with residents living on and around the B3180 worried about road safety who’ve set up an action group. I share their concerns about speeding and the number of HGV’s using this narrow road.

‪I am appalled by the scenes that took place on Exmouth beach yesterday. We must all, including parents, take responsibility for the spread of coronavirus. Now is not the time for mass gatherings.

PM announces easing of lockdown restrictions

Today the Prime Minister announced the next stage of easing the lockdown from 4th July.

I know this will be particularly welcome by the tourism, hospitality and leisure industry in East Devon but I’m acutely aware some will still have concerns.
