Heavy rain and strong winds have hit Devon hard over the past few days.
The reported tornado that struck Venn Ottery and Tipton St John over the weekend split a 150-year-old tree which then knocked down a telegraph pole as it fell apart.
Whilst the National Grid moved quickly to replace the pole, the impact of the freak weather event has been felt across the two villages where properties have been damaged and more trees have fallen. Thankfully, I'm told it missed Tipton St John Primary School.
With additional weather warnings in place due to Storm Henk, please contact me if you’ve been impacted by bad weather and need support. I’ll do all I can to help you ⬇️
