The potential relocation of the Buller statue in Exeter is unnecessary and would cast aside part of our city’s history. In the midst of a global pandemic, Exeter City Council must continue to focus its efforts on projects that will support the city’s economic recovery. I urge residents to suggest more productive ways of spending taxpayer’s money when the public consultation opens later this year.
