As a regular passenger from Honiton, I want our part of Devon to have more convenient train journeys to Exeter and London.
After successfully lobbying them for additional passengers services last year, I met with South Western Railway again in Parliament yesterday to discuss their winter performance and raise areas for improvement.
It was great to be introduced to Natalie, the newly-appointed General Manager for the West of England. The role has been created following local feedback including from myself to bring positive changes to the line.
These changes will include improved passenger communications, regular rail user group meetings and timetable updates alongside a focus on long-term investment.
An easy journey can make all the difference to your day. I’m looking forward to working with Natalie on her plans to benefit local people using stations including Cranbrook, Whimple, Feniton, Honiton, and Axminster.
