NO MORE HOUSING BEFORE A NEW RELIEF ROAD IS BUILT
Cullompton town centre can no longer handle the amount of traffic we see every day clogging our streets. And building more houses before a relief road is built will only make things worse.
County Councillor John Berry and I are calling for no more new housing developments to be given planning permission by the Lib Dems at Mid Devon District Council before a relief road is built.
I recently attended a drop in session at Cullompton Library where I spoke with local residents, who tell us that they agree: infrastructure before housing.
We’ve already secured a new railway station for Cullompton, let’s get a relief road over the line to give the town the brighter future.
